Located on the north side of Al Maryah Island, ACTIVE, powered by Zayed Sports City, is adding life to lifestyle. With nearly a dozen sport activities, food trucks and a stunning setting, this sprawling is committed to promote the community’s health and wellbeing through engaging community experiences and activities.
Sports
ACTIVE offers world-class quality facilities that everyone can enjoy. Top academies, regarded clubs and local players across 9 sports are making ACTIVE their home.
Football enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy a meticulously maintained natural turf pitch and two full-size pitches built with a FIFA Pro Certified FieldTurf system, plus opportunities for futsal and 5-a-side on the multi-sport areas. An air-conditioned indoor dome will be opening soon as well to provide year round-play.
Four ATP-standard tennis courts, featuring a latex-ite fast surface, are a highlight for fans of the sport. An addition four multi-sport courts can be converted to accommodate massive tournaments, being used for basketball, handball, volleyball, netball and football variations in the meantime. Our basketball hoops can even be adjusted so that our littlest community members can play. Stay tuned for padel too, opening in 2021.

Playing around at ACTIVE is sure to work up an appetite, and some of the city’s best food trucks are serving up fuel to keep you going. Enjoy their tasty delights al fresco at the picnic tables as you take in the surroundings of sports and recreation on Al Maryah Island. Hydration is provided complimentary via No More Bottles stations located throughout the site, offering purified water dispensed hands-free right to your reusable bottle.
Shower and changing facilities are a great convenience to our guests, as is the ample free parking that is dedicated to the complex.
